Australia Map launch wrap-up

It was an absolute hoot to launch my Australia Map this morning at Harry Hartog in Woden (book launches are, like, sooooo passe). The kids huddled in to be taken on an Aus-wide tour, then it was under the pump to answer 20 questions about Australia (with lots of prompting). They actually did really well, and won some furry prizes and some prints of animals from the map.
Enormous thanks to everyone who came along to celebrate. We enjoyed activities, red centre cupcakes with meringue clouds and an outback balloon, gold coins (typical map treasure!) and the kids had the chance to write on my map!

It was quite the conundrum signing a rolled-up map in a tube! But we found a way. More thanks to Nicole Godwin for these amazing photos, and to Leanne Barrett for arming herself with my iPhone for more great shots. And even more thanks to James and the Harry Hartog Woden crew for hosting.
